This month was full of work and new experiences. The cold weather has arrived, and the christmas fairs, decorated trees, lights, fritules (typical croatian sweet) and hot chocolate. All of these things make us deal with the weather in a better mood.
Our job has relieved us from the cold, because this month (December) we didn’t stop of doing things. After the presentation of the video CV project to the different groups of students, we started the first sessions with the ones who decided to participate.
On the other hand, twice a week we go to Nazorova Centre to give support on the different therapies that take place there with the children. Furthermore, we participated in some activities with those children, beyond the routine, as St. Nicholas or St. Lucia’s day. We also have been in a Christmas decoration workshop which took place in Nazorova , with children and their parents. Sharing this moment with families and professionals was a very nice experience.
One of the most important activities was the Christmas show. This show marks the beginning of the holidays and we rehearse it throughout the month. Finally, on December 19, all groups, both old and young, presented their performances to the families and professionals of the center. Good work received its prize as sweets. We also had our prize.
This Christmas will be different, a little nomad and pretty far from our families and friends, but we will can enjoy the magic of these dates, touring different countries and discovering their customs.
